Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

March 8th, 2010 Food Log

So, after the Singapore Noodles/MSG catastrophe , I woke up yesterday feeling horrible physically. I decided to eat super clean yesterday plus drink a lot of green tea. It helped so much. I plan on making my next post about MSG so stay tuned. I really enjoyed my food yesterday....everything tasted so good. I'm pretty sure my body thanked me by losing a pound. lol Anway, here's what I ate:

Breakfast: 3/4c. Organic Pumpkin Flax granola, 1/2c. milk

Lunch: 1 slice whole wheat bread, 2 slices cheddar cheese, baby carrots (not sure how many...maybe 8-10), apple (not sure what kind it was...it was a step up from the tartness of a granny smith...it was green with a hint of red on one side of it,  5-6 raw walnuts, 5-6 cashews

Dinner: baked wild caught salmon filet w/ dill and cajun seasoning, potato chunks w/ cheddar & broccoli, assorted steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, squash, zucchini)

4 cups of honey ginseng green tea and 4 cups of regular water (I always forget to add what I drink on here...I drink nothing but herbal tea and water....oh, and I rarely ever sweeten my herbal tea, but if I do I use Stevia or agave nectar) After a great day of nurturing/loving myself, I feel amped today...a whole world of difference from the day before.

  2. LOL POD! I drink it during the day and it actually helps me with energy, but it just seems like the caffeine in it doesn't affect me the way caffeine does in coffee. I'm not sure why, but I'm glad nevertheless b/c I think it is helping me lose more weight too honestly. :)

  4. Thanks Chris. :) It's nice to hear...I'm still learning how to transition...it takes time, but I think I'm doing pretty good so far too. You're doing great as well. :)
