Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

March 24th Food Log and More Weight Loss

I lost another .8 so that bumped me to 23lbs. lost. ☺(If you want to know how to make smileys, just hit Num Lock on the right hand side of your keyboard, press ALT and number 1 on the righthand number keypad....try other numbers too and there are different symbols: ☻=2, ♥=3,♦=4,♣=5,♠=6,•=7,◘=8,○=9)

Breakfast: 2 slices Ezekial raisin bread, 2tbsp. almond butter, 1/2c. organic choc. soymilk

Lunch: 1/2 leftover wholegrain flatbread pizza (homemade w/ turkey sausage), salad (romaine, arugula, cranberries, sprinkle of cheese, 1tbsp. Newman's Own dressing)

Dinner: 1 1/2c. spaghetti (made w/ all natural sauce, very lean ground beef, whole wheat noodles), baby carrots, apple slices

I have another NSV. I can buckle the seatbelt in my husband's truck on both sides w/o it locking which means I no longer have to pull the belt out all the way to make it fit. I'm sooo happy about this. I really thought it would take a lot of weight loss for me to start noticing changes, but so far with every pound lost it seems like something changes. I'm walking on air right now. ☺☺☺ I am doing it....and doing it well. We ALL can do this and do it well....don't give up. If you made a mistake today, don't just give up for the rest of it....start over the minute after you make the mistake. Not only will you not be taking in extra calories from giving up, you'll feel pretty darn good at the end of the day b/c of the GOOD choices you made. Trust me on this. A "good" day is not defined by missteps, it's defined by our steps forward. Are you stepping forward? It's all eye of the tiger baby....eye of the tiger. ;o)
Hope you all are having a super fabulous week!

lol..awesome. Yes, that is the way to live this...notice everything. From how you breath easier to buckling up to bending over.
My gratitude has grown by leaps and bounds.
Wait till you can hop onto the counter by pushing with your hands again...That happened about twenty pounds ago.
I was so happy when I could...why sit in a chair when you could sit on a counter? lol.

There's also other things that can be done on counters that I miss...Oh, sorry...thinking out loud. lol I know what you mean about the gratitude. I'm experiencing so much gratitude right now...it's flowing out my ears babeeee! lol ☺
