Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Food Log Feb. 23rd and Nosh pics

So, today has been more of a cereal kind of day. I still just don't feel good....and I didn't eat for a very long time b/t breakfast and lunch. So, when my dinner time rolled around it was kinda late-ish, and I really wasn't feelin my chicken soup tonight. So I opted for a small bowl of cereal.

Breakfast: 3/4c. Bear Naked granola (this was a little too much I think even if it's low fat and low sugar), 1/4c. anitoxidant trailmix, 1c. milk

Lunch (which came waaaaay later): 1 multigrain Arnold's sandwich thin, 3 slices of turkey, 1 slice cheddar, 1c. grapes, big handful of baby carrots, and 1tbsp. dressing (I didn't eat the whole tablespoon)

Dinner: 1/2c. Kashi cereal (b/c that was all that was left), 1/4c. Bear Naked Granola, 3tbsp. trailmix

I had way too many carbs today.....seriously. I did eat healthy foods though...certainly could have done worse. I didn't have any green veggies today whatsoever...gonna have to do better there.

I keep talking about some of the stuff I eat like the trailmix and granola....and the teas, but I've never posted what they look like. They really are good, wholesome products. Oh, and my camera sucks by the way...so sorry ahead of time. And just so ya know I'm actually eating these meals that I post, I took a picture of one. lol

And my son saw me taking photos of the food again so he said, "Picture.....me." lol

  1. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Cereal is such an easy meal when I don't feel like cooking. Sure, it is too many carbs for one day, but one day is only that - one day. :)

    Have a great week,
    Lynn
