Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

April 6th, 2010 Food Log

Ok, so I'm gonna log my food and that's probably going to be all for tonight. By April 14th, all this homeschool group mess will be over with totally and I'll know where I'm going from there. I'm potentially starting my own group....and the thought of doing that is scary, overwhelming, and exciting all at the same time. I've got to keep my focus though. I'm not good at chewing gum and walking at the same time, much less juggling many things at once. So, wish me luck. I hope you all have had a great week and I have been catching up on your blogs, so even if I've not commented, just know....I will soon. Anyway, here's what I ate:

Breakfast: 1c. Organic Pumpkin Flax granola, 1c. almond milk, 1 small banana

Lunch: 2slices turkey, 2slices cheddar, 1/2c. olive oil/sea salt potato chips (I swear that's the only 3 ingredients, they're low in sodium, only 8g. fat per serving....it made me feel like I was being naughty but I wasn't), 1 pear

Dinner: grilled cheese on 2 slices whole wheat bread, 1c. Amy's organic tomato bisque soup, salad w/ cranberries, sprinkle cheese, 1tbsp. dressing, 3oz. cubesteak

It's going to take a few days to get back normal from the Easter candy. I'm craving sugar so badly right now but I'm abstaining. I may have to eat a little cereal to get me through. Have a great day tomorrow! :)

  3. Good girl. You are showing you can keep it up even with the stress of the homeschooling stuff. That's real life--glad you're showing us the truth of it. The Biggest Loser folks get an unlimited facility, no family, computers, work, chores...Yeah, I could lose fast there too. You're a good example for us all.

  4. Thanks Autumn. Not sure how great an example I am since after all I did kinda fall off the horse while I was so stressed out, but like you said,"This is life" and it is life. Now I'm going to undo some of the crap I've done and jump back on the horse. I will be stopping by soon to see what you've been into lately...hehe. Thanks as usual for the encouragement deary. :)

  5. Thanks Shae. :) I'd be happy to have you if you lived close. As a matter of fact sometimes I like the idea of hanging around with my blog friends better than the acquaintances I have to be around in real life. lol. I know what you mean, it is very comforting to know others who are going through the same fight that we are. It's more comforting b/c we can feel safe on here. Things that are otherwise a little more difficult to discuss in real life, are a little bit easier to say on here and having that safe outlet is so therapeautic and important for our success. :)
