Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Feb. 3,2010 food

I had a pretty rough day yesterday but not b/c I did badly. I had dental work done yesterday and was in a LOT of pain. If I had known I was going to be in so much pain afterward, I would have eaten more beforehand.

Breakfast: 3/4c. Bear Naked Granola w/ small handful trailmix, 3/4c. almond milk

Lunch: Half of chicken breast, 1/2c. veggies from night before

(This is when I started feeling horrible...I couldn't eat very solid food for the rest of the day, so I ate some things I really wouldn't want to eat...that I don't consider whole food)

Dinner: 1 can vegetable noodle soup (MSG free but still canned), applesauce (the jar kind that has some sugar in it...I got it back when I was couponing), 1/2c. orange juice, 10 Ritz crackers

Snack: 1c. Hot cocoa (I could have chosen herbal tea, but I was miserable and wanted chocolate)

I hated eating that stuff for dinner, but I was super hungry and couldn't chew worth a darn, so I had to compromise. I could have kept myself from drinking cocoa, but I didn't....herbal tea could have soothed very similarly without the calories. What I really wanted was oatmeal, but didn't have any. All in all, I did not over eat....not even by a stretch. I did not have a ton of calories. I drank a lot of water.

  2. Thanks POD, yes, my pain has lessened in my mouth. Turns out the dentist bruised me just a bit and that's what was hurting. Thanks for the well wish. :) I hope you are well too.
