Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Feb. 10, 2010 Food Log

I did pretty good yesterday considering I was out of town for most of the day. I didn't have anything to take with me for lunch so I went by Chic-fil-A and got enough food for two meals although I got hungry later in the day and ended up eating a small slice of cheese pizza. I went to a friend's house last night and was able to turn down a brownie she offered me and I did not use any sugar for my coffee. I will most likely splurge tomorrow at my daughter's homeschool Valentine's day party. It will be a planned splurge and I won't overdo it. (I keep saying this to myself so I'll be prepared)

Breakfast: 1/2c. Bear Naked granola, 1/4c. antioxidant trailmix, 1c. almond milk

Lunch: Chargrilled Cool Wrap from Chic-Fil-A (whole grain tortilla, veggies, grilled chicken), 2tbsp. dressing

Dinner: Chargrilled chicken salad with fruit, 2tbsp. dressing

Snack: 1 small slice cheese pizza

1c. coffee w/ lowfat milk

By the way, thanks for all the comments from my last two posts. I replied to all of them, so when you have the chance, go by and look. :) Have a great day!

  1. Wow--can you come over and feed me? I have to admit, you really know what you should be eating. Very good!

  2. Thanks AutumnForest, although I have to admit I still think my eating plan needs some work. I don't eat on a set schedule and I should, and also I question if I should be eating so much dried fruit since my body doesn't tolerate sugar very well. I dunno...I just try something and if it doesn't work, then I'll change it, but so far so good...I've lost 12lbs. in a month. :) If you're ever in North Carolina...then, sure I'd love to feed ya! LOL :) I love to cook.

  6. Hey POD, LOL! Thank you for checking on me. I'm getting on here later to post a blog. Lots of stuff happened over the weekend so I didn't really have time to blog. I did splurge a little too much, but you'll be happy to know that I've been back on the horse and I did not gain any weight from my splurge. :) I'll post later.
