Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Thurs. Jan. 28, 2010

Breakfast: Low-fat granola(I didn't measure but I probably had 3/4c. full) with chopped up banana, 3/4 c. milk

Lunch: Whole wheat tortilla, tuna with 2 tbsp. lowfat olive oil mayo (I ate a lot of tuna...and it kept me pretty full), 2 cheddar cheese slices, bed or romaine and arugula, 1c. green grapes

Snack: (b/c I had them in the car) around 6 peanut butter filled pretzel bites

Dinner: Lemon pepper crusted salmon filet and 1/2 of one, baked french fries (I had a few too many), big salad w/ 2 tbsp. Newman's Own Ranch dressing

I drank a whole bottle of Perrier. I don't think I did too bad, but I did over eat at dinner time. I think I did that b/c I didn't snack enough throughout the day. I spent 3 hours in Wal-Mart today and definitely got in some heavy walking. I have all my groceries now....and I'm going to prep a lot of snacks so I'll be prepared. Tomorrow we have a play date. My friend is feeding the kids pizza....I will be bringing my own lunch. :)

  2. LOL I have to admit though...it was 3 hours of hell. My 2 year old son was screaming at the top of his lungs for most or our trip. So, the heavy walking came from me trying to hurry my butt up so I could get my kid out of the store! LOL In hindsight, it was a great motivation for walking faster. :P
