Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Saturday Jan. 30,2010

Sorry I haven't had any food pics or recipes. I really need to work on that. :) Today has been another good day....a cold day with snow...but a good day.

Breakfast: 1c. Kashi cereal w/ 1c. almond milk, half banana

Lunch: Whole wheat pita with 1 slice cheddar cheese and artichoke hearts, greek salad w/ black olives, onion, tomato, a crumble of feta, and 2 tbsp. Newman's Own Italian dressing

Snack: 3 tbsp. antioxidant trail mix

Dinner: Lean hamburger on Arnold's multigrain sandwich thin, 1slice cheddar, sliced roma romato, a very small handful of baked french fries, and salad w/ 2 tbsp. Newman's Own Ranch dressing

Dessert: Snow cream (It doesn't snow here often at all so we get to make this treat about 1 time a year...so I had just a little to taste)

And I haven't eaten since. :) I feel good again today...not too hungry and I've been drinking lots of water.

  1. Hi Kim, just found your blog. Drinking water always helps me feel fuller throughout the day. I'm also currently addicted to caffeine free herbal peppermint tea-a lot tastier than water too!

  2. Hi Karen, thank you for leaving a comment. :) Yes, I've been trying to drink more b/c a lot of the time when I feel hungry, I'm really just thirsty. Yeah, I love peppermint herbal tea! It slows down digestion as well, therefore keeping you fuller longer. With Stevia, it tastes even better although I can drink it either way.
