Saving My Life

Anything I post on here about PCOS or any other condition, is general information or information I've accumulated in my experience having PCOS or other conditions. I'm not a doctor, so nothing I say should EVER take place of a real diagnosis from your doctor. My eating plan described on this blog is one I've made for myself and I'm constantly changing it according to my body's needs.

Food Log Feb. 21, 2010

I did ok yesterday. I said in my last post that all of us are sick here at my house. I am sooo sick and it's always bad when I get sick b/c I usually take care of everyone. However, my husband just had surgery and on top of that he has a tooth that is killing him right now, so it's very inconvenient that I'm sick. Last night at dinner time, I stated that I didn't feel like cooking. I was going to cook anyway, but my husband offered to go get us something. I argued with him for about 15 minutes over this b/c I didn't want to spend the extra money and I really didn't want restaurant food. He insisted on getting food for us b/c he could see that I truly felt like garbage, so I finally gave in. We opted for Subway.

Breakfast: 1c. Kashi cereal, 1c. milk

Lunch: 1/2 salmon filet, 1/4c. mac n/cheese (organic), big salad (arugula, romaine, cranberries, yellow bell pepper), 2tbsp. Newman's Own Ranch dressing

Snack: 1/2c. Bear Naked granola (low sugar low fat), 3tbsp. dark chocolate antioxidant trailmix

Dinner: 6in. Whole Wheat roll, roasted chicken, lots of veggies w/ light mayo and mustard, 1 bag baked chips, diet Dr. Pepper (I've done pretty well getting off the diet sodas but my throat was really killing me lastnight so I really wanted soda to take the edge off)
