Do the workout first thing. Start with 2 minutes. Next week add a minute. Each week add another minute. When I bought my elliptical and first got on it about a year ago (I think) (I'm trying to remember and I'm ancient). I could only do about 30 seconds on it before I passed out in a heap on the floor. I finally got (over a period of time) to where I could easily (and I would force myself to do this even though I say the word "easily", to do 30 minutes. That was after doing 5 minute increments throughout the day for weeks. Then 10, then 15. Now when I'm having a crappy day (which you can just imagine must be never), I go back to the 5 minute increments if I have to. Just do it, Kim. I wake up early in the morning to workout before work because I know myself and I'll find an excuse not to do it later in the day. So, I do manage to get it done in the morning, but it was like pulling teeth. I made it much easier for myself by putting a TV in there. I taped shows like "Biggest Loser" and got some movies where people are romping on the beach in bikinis and I play those while I workout. It inspires me, makes me feel less alone in the agony, and I have a timer and refuse to leave until it sounds off. Once done, the entire day is mine. I do feel an amazing high and each time afterwards I think it was the best thing I did all day, but come the next morning I'm still having to kick myself into the workout room. You never really look forward to it, but you feel great about it afterwards. I just focus on how warm and limber I fee the rest of the day. Good luck! I like your food plan.
